What are cookies? What are they used for?
A cookie is a small text file that stores information about your browsing and is saved on your computer. This information is used to customise the site based on how you use it, but it also allows us at Tjärlek to improve our website and make it more user-friendly. Tjärlek does not pass on the information to third parties.

Google Analytics
On Tjärlek’s website, we use Google Analytics to collect statistics on how our visitors use the site. The information collected and stored in your browser is in an anonymous form and allows us to see how many visitors we have, where the visitors are coming from and the pages they are visiting. The information about the websites or links that the visitors are coming from is stored for up to six months. We also uses session cookies, a type of transient cookie that stores information for as long as you are active on the site. Tjärlek takes care of your personal information

When you contact Tjärlek, personal information is passed on. Your personal information may only be processed if you have given your approval or where authorised under the Swedish Personal Data Act (PDA) or other legislation. The purpose of the PDA is to prevent violation of your personal integrity..
What is personal information?
Personal information is anything that can be linked to an individual – such as names, personal ID numbers and telephone numbers. However, pictures where you can clearly be identified are also regarded as personal information.

On your terms
When you contact us at Tjärlek, whether by telephone, e-mail or using the form on our website, you are giving your consent for us to store your information. We always respect your personal integrity when processing your personal information.

Selected marketing
When you contact us, your personal information may later be used in direct marketing or for sending out e-mails. This is always stated when you contact us. All you need to do is to tell us and the direct marketing will stop immediately.

You have the right to know
Once a year, you are entitled to contact us at Tjärlek to find out how and why we process your personal information. Once you have contacted us, we will respond to you free of charge within one month.

Personal information & social media
When you contact us via social media, such as Instagram or Facebook, the information you share with us is transferred to third parties – i.e. Facebook or Instagram. Remember, therefore, not to share personal and sensitive information via social media.
